「緑樹影沈魚上木

月浮海上兎奔波

（緑樹影沈んで魚木に上るけしきあり

月海上に浮かびては兔も波を奔るか）

 

風に樹はさざめきて

千の魚らは歌ひ出で

夜明けの如く輝けり

今も昔も隔て無き

辯才天の花の舞

もえいづいのちすべてをめづる

 

とき満ち初むる秋の夜の

万の祈りに共鳴して

湖上に龍神顕れたり

古の由ある伝え黄金の穂

しろがねのいなづまさしてみちひらけ

衆生をてらす珠玉となりぬ

 

 

元より衆生済度の誓ひ

様々なれば

或ハ天女の形を現じ

有縁の衆生の諸願を叶へ

又ハ下界の龍神となつて

国土を鎮め

誓ひを顕す」

 

Chikubu Jima

[The trees of the island are reflected upon the lake

And the fish in the water seem to be climbing in the trees

The moon also floats on the water’s surface

And the rabbit who lives in the moon is racing across the waves

The crowd of trees whisper in the wind

While thousands of fish rise out of the water singing

And everywhere is shining as the sunrise

There is no separation between the present world and the old one

Sarasvati begins dancing like a flower

It seems like she loves all precious life

On an Autumn night, when the feast of life is at its peak

The dragon god Ryujin appears on the lake to make a symphony with tens of thousands of prayers

We carry a beautiful old tradition like the golden rice ear

The road opens with a new sense like a silver lighting bolt

Which light up everyone, causing them to became a jeweled treasure

Oaths and vows are various

Sometimes it appears as the figure of a maiden goddess

She grants wishes to those with a strong connection to her

Other times it appears as Ryujin who lives in the lake

He protects the land and makes our vows real]
